Effective 15 July 2026 · The limits of the platform and coaching, and safe participation in fitness and nutrition.
1. Purpose
This disclaimer applies to all users of Strivonex Coach — both coaches and clients. It explains the limits of the platform and the coaching services provided through it, and it encourages everyone to take part in fitness and nutrition safely. Strivonex Coach is a software platform that connects coaches with their clients and provides tools to support coaching. It is not a medical service, a healthcare provider, or a substitute for professional medical advice. By using the platform you acknowledge the points set out below.
2. No Medical Advice
- Strivonex Coach does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or care.
- Any information, plans, suggestions or analysis within the platform — whether from a coach, the platform itself or an AI feature — is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
- The platform is not a replacement for a qualified healthcare professional. If you have a medical concern, a new symptom, or a question about your health, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional, such as your GP.
- If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, or are unsure whether an activity or nutrition change is safe for you, speak to a healthcare professional before starting.
3. Coaching Services
Coaching services provided through Strivonex Coach are delivered by independent coaches, not by Strivonex. Your coach designs and is responsible for the programmes, plans and guidance they give you. Strivonex provides the platform that enables this coaching but does not supervise, endorse or take responsibility for any individual coach's advice or the outcomes of that coaching. The relationship between you and your coach, including their qualifications and the scope of what they offer, is set out in our Client Terms & Conditions.
4. Exercise Risks
Physical exercise involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury. You take part voluntarily and at your own risk. To reduce risk:
- Follow your coach's guidance and only do exercises you have been shown how to perform safely.
- Warm up properly and use equipment as intended.
- Build up gradually rather than pushing beyond what is safe for you.
If you experience pain, dizziness, chest tightness, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptom during exercise, stop immediately and seek medical advice. Do not "push through" something that feels wrong. The goal of coaching is healthy, sustainable progress — not risk.
5. Nutrition
Nutritional guidance on the platform is intended to support general fitness, health and wellbeing. Unless your coach holds an appropriate, recognised qualification in nutrition or dietetics, the guidance they provide should be treated as general fitness nutrition rather than specialist dietary advice. If you have an allergy, intolerance, eating disorder, medical condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a registered dietitian or your healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet.
6. AI Features
Where AI features are enabled by your coach, they may suggest programme adjustments, draft replies, summarise check-ins or estimate nutrition targets. These suggestions are designed to support coaches and users — they do not replace professional judgement, and they do not replace medical advice. Every AI-generated suggestion is reviewed and approved by your coach before it reaches you, and you remain free to question or decline anything you are unsure about. Full details of how AI is used, its principles and its limitations are in our AI Usage & Safety Policy in the Trust Centre.
7. Emergencies
Strivonex Coach and the Strivonex Coach platform must never be relied upon during a medical emergency. If you or someone else is in danger, contact the appropriate emergency services immediately — in the UK, call 999 for a medical emergency or 112, or go to your nearest A&E. Do not wait for a response from the platform, your coach or an AI feature in an emergency.
8. User Responsibility
You remain responsible for your own health decisions. This means:
- Providing accurate, honest and up-to-date health information to your coach where appropriate, including medical conditions, injuries and medications.
- Reading and following guidance carefully and asking questions when something is unclear.
- Stopping an activity and seeking advice if something does not feel right.
- Consulting a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you have a medical condition.
Coaches, in turn, are responsible for the guidance they give and for reviewing any AI-generated content before using it, as set out in our AI Usage & Safety Policy and Coach Platform Agreement.
